Absolutely loved our stay here. As a group of 9 finding a suitable property isn’t easy, but this Airbnb was perfect.
We had enough bedrooms and beds and bathrooms, the living area was huge and kitchen fully equipped.
Highly recommended for larger families and groups.
Location was private and surrounded by a peaceful forest but with plenty of open lawn area around

Très calme avec une vue spectaculaire sur les couchers de soleil. Les lits étaient très confortables, la cuisine fonctionnelle, le salon un bel endroit pour se rassembler lorsque la température chutait avec une bûche dans le foyer. Nous avons profité de la belle piscine et de la table de ping pong. Typhaine était toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions.
L’épicerie est à 10 ou 20 minutes en voiture selon l’endroit choisi. La région est magnifique avec la grotte à Domme, Sarlat, le kayak sur la Dordogne, Rocamadour, Montignac et le village de St-Amand de Coly.
Un endroit parfait pour se retrouver entre amis ou en famille.
Very peaceful with spectacular sunset views. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen functional, and the living room a lovely place to gather when the temperature dropped, with a log in the fireplace. We enjoyed thebeautiful swimming pool and the ping-pong table. Typhaine was always available to answer our questions. The grocery store is a 10- to 20-minute drive away, depending on the location. The region is magnificent, with the cave at Domme, Sarlat, kayaking on the Dordogne River, Rocamadour, Montignac, and the village of St-Amand de Coly. A perfect place to get together with friends or amily.

Nous avons passé 15 jours en famille dans la maison de Chassagne. La maison est très très bien équipée pour de grandes familles, c’est très agréable. Bien isolée, elle est restée fraîche même à l’étage malgré l’épisode de canicule. Nous avons bien profité de la piscine et de la terrasse. Les équipements sont de qualité, c’est très appréciable. Typhaine a été très réactive et a trouvé rapidement des solutions. Nous recommandons vivement la maison de Chassagne et les services de Typhaine
We spent 15 days as a family at the Chassagne house. The house is very well equipped for large families, which is very pleasant. Well insulated, it stayed cool even upstairs despite the heatwave. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the terrace. The amenities are high quality, which is much appreciated. Typhaine was very responsive and quickly found solutions. We highly recommend the Chassagne house and Typhaine's services.

Really happy to be back for our second visit. Everything was as we remembered it. We enjoyed the lovely pool each day. Eating outside in the peace and quiet was relaxing.
Beds are comfortable, house is clean, wi-fi is good (it has been upgraded since our last visit), and everything you will need is there. We are sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we have.
Many different activities are available within the area.
I am certain we will return for a third visit. Typhaine is always a pleasure to deal with. Thank you.

Het huis was precies wat we wilden, om met vakantie te gaan met onze kinderen (twintigers). We waren met zes totaal.
Een ruime woonkamer, prima bedden, voor elk stel een eigen badkamer. (Wel wat warm boven maar er stonden ventilatoren klaar)
De keuken had alles wat we nodig hadden, het zwembad was echt superfantastisch. De ligging: helemaal apart met pas verderop buren.
Ook de tafeltennistafel was een succes, daar is veel gebruik van gemaakt!

The house was exactly what we wanted for a holiday with our children (all in their twenties). There were six of us in total. A spacious living room, comfortable beds, and each couple had their own bathroom. (It was a bit warm upstairs, but fans were provided.) The kitchen had everything we needed, and the pool was truly fantastic. The location: completely secluded, with neighbors just down the road. The ping-pong table was also a hit; we used it a lot! We look back on this week with fond memories.

Apart from getting very lost trying to find it we had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is really beautiful and perfect for our party of 9 (including a baby & toddler). The pool was really fun and we enjoyed the ping pong table. The house was very well equipped and we found lots to do within 30-40 min drive. Lovely restaurant in Coly (10 min drive) opposite the church and great supermarket in Terrasson (15 min drive). Lots of local markets, Sarlat was especially good. Would definitely recommend this beautiful house and we hope to be back one day!

If you are looking for a quiet but spacious property with sense of freedom this property is perfect. Its large living space offers separation even if travelling in larger groups. It is very secluded so own transport is a must. That said, a short drive into Sarlat is a must. A huge selection of restaurants, bars and local markets and the most picturesque town I think I have ever seen.

Ein tolles Haus! Für eine größere Familie sehr gut geeignet. Toller Pool und super gute Ausstattung! Perfekte Lage, um Zeit im Haus zu verbringen oder auch Ausflüge nach Lasceaux, Sarlat-La, etc.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette magnifique maison, qui est au calme dans la forêt avec des beaux extérieurs et une piscine parfaitement chauffée. Elle est très bien équipée et nous avons manqué de rien.
Cependant nous avons eu un petit désagrément au niveau de l'utilisation du four (coupure d'électricité à chaque allumage de ce dernier mais nous avons pu régler le problème en baissant le chauffage, surement un problème de surconsommation). Sinon tout s'est très bien passée et nous étions en contact avec Tiphaine tout le long de notre séjour pour notre problème.
Typhaine: Je vous remercie pour votre commentaire, concernant la coupure de courant c'est un problème isolé qui est déjà résolu et n'entachera aucun autre séjour.
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house, which is peacefully situated in the forest with lovely grounds and a perfectly heated pool. It is very well equipped, and we wanted for nothing. However, we did experience a minor issue with the oven (the power cut out every time we turned it on, but we were able to resolve the problem by lowering the heating; it was probably due to excessive power consumption). Otherwise, everything went very well, and we were in contact with Tiphaine throughout our stay regarding the problem. Tiphaine: Thank you for your feedback. Regarding the power outage, it was an isolated incident that has already been resolved and will not affect any future stays.

A well-equipped place to stay. Great for family groups, having a large and spacious dining/family room and very well-equipped kitchen. All the bedrooms are spacious with a flexible combination of double and twin rooms. The bathrooms and WCs are very clean with hand and bath towels provided.
We loved the good sized, private, swimming pool, sun loungers and umbrellas. It has plenty of outside space including a raised eating area, a brick-built BBQ, grass area surrounding the house, swings and a sheltered area with table tennis.
It is slightly off the beaten track but centrally located to visit some fabulous attractions in the area including the caves at Lascaux, the medieval town of Sarlat, Chateau de Losse, the beautiful towns of Montignac, Terrasson-Lavilledieu and Coly-Saint-Amand, Thot animal park and Chateau de Beynac.
We had a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend it if you are looking for somewhere peaceful to stay and happy to do a little bit of driving.

We had a wonderful week here. We were able to check in an hour early at 4pm and Typhaine was available online to ask any questions we had. We explored the local area but be aware you need a car for this as everything was a drive away. We didn’t mind this as everywhere we explored was perfect and it meant the holiday home was super peaceful and our little retreat after a busy day.

We had a great two weeks. The property was exactly as advertised. All of the facilities were to a high standard and the property was in beautiful quiet surroundings. This is a wonderful base for two families who want to share a house. There was plenty of space and the kitchen was really well equipped. There was loads to do in the surrounding area. We all wanted to stay longer! Overall a fantastic place to stay and we would go back.

A lovely house for a family to stay in, great to have a room downstairs for anyone wanting to get away from the noise of children. Pool area and barbeque with outdoor table tennis, all good as is the external covered area for outside eating in the shade. Lots of excellent sightseeing in the area too

This is a beautiful large stone house built to a high specification with traditional features such as the internal stone walls and large wooden beams and inclusion of stone tiles. All the interior furnishings and facilities are of a very high standard and it is spacious, clean and well equipped. It is set in a rural tranquil setting surrounded by fields and woods, but only a short drive to Coly, Montignac, etc. Outside is also excellent with a good-sized pool, plenty of loungers, table and chairs, BBQ etc Great communication with Typhaine. In summary this is an outstanding 5* house, perfect for a family holiday and we would highly recommend.

A wonderful gem of a place! Beautiful location, spacious, superbly equipped, we can’t recommend this place enough. Simply perfect!
Our two families have thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable and cozy Grande Chassagne. It is very relaxing as it's well kept and clean and set in a wonderful quiet surroundings.
It has everything you could wish for, but the pool and the fireplace really add something special.
Thanks for letting us stay here, it was very "gezellig"

Een ruim en goed ingericht huis, met name de ligging van het zwembad ( vanuit de keuken te bereiken en omheind) was erg praktisch. Prettige kamers en badkamers, ping pongtafel, barbecue. In de omgeving genoeg te doen, wel steeds met ongeveer een halfuurtje rijden. Montignac en Sarlat leuke stadjes.

We enjoyed 2-week stay in La Grande Chassagne. Highly recommend. Pool always a pleasure to swim & wallow in!
Quiet area, slightly away from Golden Triangle, but has many attractions within easy reach. We have stayed in the region many times over past 30 years, would put this house in our Top 3. Always found ourselves smiling when we drove up to the beautiful front.
La Chassagne is a grouping of attractive stone houses (all on large plots to maintain privacy). Supermarkets in Terrason and Montignac are under 20 minutes away, Sarlat only slightly further. Good local Marche Gourmands. Comfortable bed, plentiful hot water, stylish (but uncluttered) decor, clean & tidy, good laundry facilities, well-equipped kitchen, quality exterior furniture, warm pool (28-34C in June/July), internet fast enough to check email/do the occasional download, mobile coverage fine.
Typhaine is quick to respond, helpful & friendly. She aims to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Will return! Thank you.

Our visit to Typhaine’s residence was principally as an adult family gathering and the house met all our needs.
A beautiful home in a wonderfully peaceful and attractive part of France. In the countryside, but close to many amenities. Close to Terrasson, for supplies, and numerous other towns for entertainment, attractions and good food. It also helped that we were blessed with some excellent weather.
A well-appointed house, with plenty of room for our party of 6 (could cope with 4 more guests with relative ease) with a great swimming pool, perfect for our needs. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of utensils, cutlery, plates/bowls and cups/glasses.
Some nice decorative touches around this modern home. On the day we were leaving, the internet provision was being upgraded. This will certainly be a help if you are a ‘connected’ party (like we were).
Typhaine was a fine, thoughtful and helpful host. We are more than happy to absolutely recommend this home to any size party!

Très belle maison un peu isolée, confortable et cosy, très bien équipée. Environnement très calme. Un peu plus de chauffage aurait été bienvenu. Problème de wifi pendant 3 jours mais solution trouvée rapidement par Typhaine pour le télétravail. Espace piscine agréable mais à cette époque de l’année la piscine n’est pas chauffée. Le jardin est magnifique ainsi que les alentours, la région est belle et chargée d’histoire. En résumé nous avons passé une belle semaine en famille.
Very nice house a little secluded, comfortable and cozy, very well equipped. Environment super quiet. A little more heating would have been welcome. Wifi issue for 3 days but solution found quickly by Typhaine for remote working. Pleasant swimming pool area but at that time of year the swimming pool is not heated. The garden is great as well as the surroundings, the area is beautiful and full of history. In short, we had a lovely week with our family.

This house is beautiful inside and out. So spacious, very clean and some nice touches. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The pool is fantastic and warm and there are plenty of sun loungers. The table tennis kept the teenagers happy for hours! The house is in a very tranquil location and there are some lovely walks through the woodland right from the door. We did mini golf and canoeing in Montignac 15 mins away. Typhaine was a great host and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything
